help to choosing module

Hi ... And sorry for not being put in the right forum .Culdn't agree where it belong :-)

I need a module for news/what's happening for my kids web.

I need to write a text and mayby a picture telling what had happend.

All the "news" should then be listing. Beside that - on the front I need the 5 latest. And if possible - on the absolute front I need the latest 10 from booth subsites (kid 1 and kid 2)..

Like the way Blog works: etc etc etc.. Read more - but could get the lates 5. And doesn't like the way to pick the entry by selectng a dato :-(

Hope this makes sense  - and someone know what module to buy. Maybe telling what You are using..

Best regards

Bo Hjorth :-)

What about Ventrian's News Articles? I've got my blog running on it.

Re: help to choosing module

What matters is whether the subsites are other portals or just pages in the same portal.

Ventrian's module will do well if it is all in the same portal. If they aren't then you'll need to use an RSS aggregator to pull the posts together from the other sites. Either ZLDNN's or Orizonti's RSS module will do that for you.
