Files uploaded via FTP not showing in portal 

Hi!

I have a strange problem, I have uploaded a bunch of files via FTP to a folder in a portal. The files does not show in the portal.

I have tried with creating the folder via FTP ( not showing in portal ) , I have tried creating the folder via DNN and then upload files to it (folder showing, files do not)

Uploading files via DNN works, but since it is a picturelibrary with a couple of hundred images it is kind of tiresome to upload them one by one. Zipping them together and upload via DNN does not work, since the zipfile is over 50 megs in size.

Anyone having a clue how to solve it? I am suspecting that it could be some kind of access rights problem, like the FTP server has ownership of the files which the DNN application/webserver has not.

you need to syncronize DNN file system, either manually in Admin :: FileManager (upper right corner), by scheduled scan in Host :: Scheduler or by Auto Scan (Host :: Host Settings).

Ahh... thanks!

I had Automatic Sync on but it had not worked, but I did a resync and then they showed up!

please note, that auto sync only recognizes new files, not new folders.
