Copy Module to another portal

Hi, I need to copy/mirror a module to a subportal of mine. I am wondering how to achieve this. Also, if at all possible just replicate it on the parent portal as it is now, and then put it on the subportal and have all of the original functionality. It is an article module, so I would like to keep all the articles I currently have, and when it's on the new portal I would still like to be able to add more articles. Please help...Thanks!

Re: Copy Module to another portal

if you want to "syndicate" the articles fron your parent portal in your child portals, you should consule the NewsFeed, provided by the parent portal, in a newsfeed module in the child portal, requiring that the content is publically available (visible to anonymous users). This is the only supported option by DotNetNuke out of the box, otherwise you might need to use 3rd party solutions.
