DNN TabId WorkFlow

Hi,

I’m pubudu. I’m very new to DNN as a beginner. Following is my question-:

I confused with how DNN find a module.

Ex: http://localhost/myportal/Portals/_default/Skins/Creditor/~/tabid/51/Default.aspx

I just want to know how DNN is worked to get this path.

If u can guide me using an example I would be very much appreciated and it will be very much helpful me as a beginner.

Thank u.

Best Regards.

Re: DNN TabId WorkFlow

the given path sounds weird as it looks like a combination of a real path to a skin and a tab.

usually you get a path like http://mydomain/menu/menuitem/tabid/121/default.aspx which is a rewritten url to include a) menu path to the current page and b)parameters like page ID (internally called tabID) and optionally others. if you turn off Friendly URLs in host settings, you will get the original path. HTH.
