Virtual Directory error

I've created two virtual directories in IIS - DNN, DNNSample ,both pointing to different folders. When I open home page by typing, http://localhost/DNN or http://localhost/DNNSample , always page in folder pointed by virtual directory DNNSample is opened. (ie) If i open http://localhost/DNN, it gets redirected to http://localhost/DNNSample. Can u please solve this??

Re: Virtual Directory error

Are both DNN installations by chance pointing to the same database?

Re: Virtual Directory error

Was one created as a portal from the other?  Did you set the portal alias for it?

Re: Virtual Directory error

Sorry, replied too soon.  My guess after reading the rest is what Mitch insinuated, you used the same database for the second so it overwrote the first.  The proper way to run two DNN sites is to either use portals, or to use two separate databases.

Jeff
