Article Archive and Search 

I want to present a bunch of articles on an IT portal. Do you know the best way to archive these and have them available for search? Do you know the best DNN search module? Do you know any examples of DNN sites doing this? Lots of questions, but any answers would be great. Thanks.

Might look at Ventrian Articles, or any of the content management modules.  This is a normal feature for them.

Are these articles entered directly on the page or are the articles that have already been published i.e. pdfs? if they are to be enter on the site News articles would be the best way to go. If yu are uploading them I would suggest OpenDNN DocumentLibrary and Open DNN Search which will index the content of worrd files pdfs etc as well as index the rest of the regular content of the site.

It looks like Ventrain's News Articles module may be the best for this. A couple questions regareding the module:

The default for News Articles is unfriendly ugly looking URLs. Our developer said he's had a hard time figuring out how to convert them to friendly URLs, is there a resource for this?

Where can I find some good examples of News Articles in action? Does anybody have a "top 5"?
