Subscription Payment Handler?

I'm setting up a subscription site with DNN.  Is there a built-in way for DNN to handle payment/management for user subscriptions or does that require a 3rd-party module?  I found where to enter in the requirements for the "Subscribers" user role, but I haven't found out how to implement that policy.

Am I missing it somewhere?

Thanks,

CJ

I answered a similar question here:

Re: Subscription Payment Handler?

Thanks!  I read through that post, but my issue is a little bit different.  I don't need a complex set of management tools - I simply need to allow the user to subscribe to the only "Subscribers" user role which will provide them access to one (maybe two) pages of "Subscribers Only" content.  I was hoping to be able to do this with the DNN core.

Basically, if I could find a way to create a "Subscribe" link (like the one found in the "Edit User Profile" section) and place it on the main page, I would be happy at this point.  Any idea if this is possible?

Thanks,

CJ

Re: Subscription Payment Handler?

Got it figured out myself.  Redirect to "PayPalSubscription.aspx" and throw it the RoleID of the role the user wants to subscribe to, and it does the rest of the work for you.

Re: Subscription Payment Handler?

Can you elaborate on your solution a little? Where do you redirect? From what option?
