OnyakTech Outlook Events

Is anyone using the OnyakTech Outlook Events module?

This is a simple module to install and use, however, we have had multiple issues and still don't get meetings to appear on the Events module.  We are using Events module 3.1 as recommended by Chris and downloaded from his site.

The Export tries to 'open' all the Outlook calendar entries and errors with a message that the administrator has limited the number or  items that can be opened at one time.  If we try to Export from a calendar that has only a single entry, the message says it was successful, but the database does not populate.

Did you try OnyakTek's forums?

Re: OnyakTech Outlook Events

I just purchased this module too and am having problems. I've gone to their site but they don't have any forums, and there is no search functionality on the site, at least that I could find. In the instructions it says to download the latest add-in for Outlook but I can't find it anywhere.

Re: OnyakTech Outlook Events

Nevemind I found both the forums and the latest versions, just wasn't looking hard enough. I got all the updated stuff installed, but I get an error when I try to import events from Outlook into the Events Module. I'm waiting on a response from their support people. The error is this:

"Server was unable to process request. --> Method not found "Void DotNetNuke.Modules.Events.EventInfo.set_ItemId(Int32)"

Re: OnyakTech Outlook Events

Well I finally got it to work by downgrading the Events module to version 3.1, which is significantly inferior. Also, the OnjakTech Module doesn't have support for recurring events, and you can't use shared calendars, only your own. I was pretty disappointed with it. It was only $30, but I don't feel like it was worth the money. They need to upgrade it to support the new Events module.
