iFlaker (www.iflaker.com) has been opened to work like Live.com, iGoogle, Pageflaker, etc. The service is aimed at making it easier and easier for the man in the street to quickly create a web presence (ie website for personal or business use) without the immediate need of an expert. One does not have to download and install any files before being able to take advantage of the power of DNN. Once you get to www.iflaker.com you can immediately start adding pages, changing the logo, add or delete modules, change text, add pictures, assign roles, add users, alter skins, etc right here on the browser. A person does not have to signup in order to start changing www.iflaker.com. When you get to www.iflaker.com a site is created for you and it is assigned a unique number called globally unique identifier (GUID, eg 6f0cfe2a-4e9d-4065-8eea-0590a8ddce84) and stores it as a cookie. When you come back to the site at a different time or day on the same computer www.iflaker.com will remember everything you have saved before you even sign up. If you send anyone the iFlaker.com link with your GUID like this www.iflaker.com/6f0cfe2a-4e9d-4065-8eea-0590a8ddce84 (where the number is your GUID on the address bar of your browser) they will be able to see any tweaking you make on your portal even before you sign up. When you sign up, you replace the GUID with a presentable portal name and the name of your portal will change to www.iflaker.com/yourname, where ‘yourname’ stands for a name of your choice. All of these benefits are free of charge to you the user.
