you do not have access to view

Login to www.dotnetnuke.com web site with your username/password. click on the link download dotnetnuke 4.8.4 security update link. on the next page click on the link " Already registered? Click here to login to the site. "  here to login and you would get error message "you do not have access to view this tab....." what is this issue ?

I am having same issue when user login for the first time after they register through my custom registration page on the second potral. unable to track anything regarding this issue in Event Viewer.

users are able to login without any problem second time

Thanks

Re: you do not have access to view

the text  "Already registered? Click here to login to the site."  should not show up for users already logged in, I will forward this to the web master.

regarding your own portal please be aware, that login credentials are portal specific and are not shared between portals by default.

Re: you do not have access to view

yes that's what my understanding was.

however if you are using  i.e7 to login two users from two different portal in the same page with two tabs; logging out one user logout the other user as well. this does not happen when u have two i.e 7 windows open.

Thanks
