Re: Manually adding 'logout'?

Hi David,

I have tried to link to logoff.aspx and login.aspx in a links module that only i can see as follows: http://SERVERNAME/login.aspx but it does not work. I want to be able to have certain users at my clients site logout as themselves and be redirected to the login page to login as host or admin. can you give me details of how i can do this please.

Thanks

Andy

Re: Manually adding 'logout'?

Hi Andy

I would have replied sooner, but the DNN forum notifications don't work!

I am guessing that for Login.aspx to work a login page must be set in the site settings.  What should work though, and is working for me is to use Default.aspx?ctl=login

You shouldn't have any problems then with the Logoff.aspx.

Cheers

David

Re: Manually adding 'logout'?

I guess <a href="/?ctl=logoff">Log Off</a> may not work, if the dnn installation is done in a folder, but may be you can use

<a href="Default.aspx?ctl=logoff">Log Off</a> for pure HTML A tag

or

<asp:hyperlink runat="server" NavigationUrl="~/?ctl=logoff">Log Off</asp:hyperlink > for asp.net hyperlink control
