HTML/Text module content moderation/authorisation functionality?

All,

We are looking into content moderation and authorisation for our intranet and were wondering if there are any plans to include the above functionality in other DNN modules, specifically the HTML/Text module?

Thanks,

Andy

Re: HTML/Text module content moderation/authorisation functionality?

there are several 3rd party modules with workflow like Engage Publishing or free Text/HTML enhancement by Effority.net.

Please be informed, that verisioning and workflow is on the Agenda for DNN 5.x (x > 0 !)

Hi Sebastian,

This is potentially great news! What are your timescales? we need a solution before the end of 2008 if possible, or, we'll have to create our own.

Thanks,

Andy

Re: HTML/Text module content moderation/authorisation functionality?

Hi

I use effority workflow and it has been pretty good (actually exceptional given its price - free). But I too am excited to learn of workflow inclusion in 5.0! If you want it implemented before January though I'd go ahead with effority. Then you can test the 5.0 module enhancements and transfer content from one module to the other at your leaisure if desired. Just my 2 cents though.

Mike
