Re: Display Module On All Pages? Changes do not take on all pages

this seems like a caching issue indeed, however, its an issue that should not occur, because the module call a synchronize method that should clear the cache of the module. However, i am unsure whether module cache is page dependent or not. I will do some testing with the new version that will be released soon. If this proves to be an issue, i will try to solve it, however, it may well be that this is a core issue....

Re: Display Module On All Pages? Changes do not take on all pages

I have the same problem.

I put 60 days in History settings but this works only for 1 page. Rest of the pages still have no value in their settings.

I changed cache to 0, it has no effect. Settings of Annoncement on other pages still show none in History field.

How can I fix it? It is really difficult to go through all pages to modify it, and I do not think this is the way.

thanks

Off topic lesson learned:

Never use redirect on Page Settings if page contains a module that you need to display it at all pages.

This is a "Feature" of the module. All settings are actually page bound (technical term is that settings are stored as TabModuleSettings). While this is great because it allows you to have different views of your announcements on different pages, at the same time, it disallows you to have a non standard view on all pages. I think this can be enhanced somewhat. Admins could have the option to store settings per page or per module. I will add this feature request to gemini, and report a link back here.
