same content in two different portals

Hi!

I would like to have two announcements modules in two different portals (one of them is a subportal). I would like them to be "synchronized", meaning that if I add an announcement in one module it will be automagically added to the second module. Is this possible?

Thanks!

Re: same content in two different portals

By default modules do not share information cross portal.  I'm sure that you could most likely implement a trigger or something to copy the values, but that is not necessarily the best approach.

I would look at customizing the Announcements module to store a common set of announcements to do this in an "appropriate" manner.  It should be a farily minor set of modifications.
