Check view permissions on Settings page of your module.

“Inherit View permissions from Page ”  check box should be checked.

I am having a similar issue.  I have enabled syndication and have the inherit View permissions checked.  However when logged on as administrator, I can subscribe to the RSS feed through the context menu on the announcement module.  I don't see the XML (RSS Feed) button.  do i have to add code manually and if so, what is the format.

Re: The XML (RSS Feed ) button may not be visible
I figured out my problem.  I am using custom containers and I did not have the dnnActions buttons in my containe.  I copied the code from one of the default containers and the all of the standard buttons now appear in my module.
