All annoucements disappeared and only the selct view is visible
I'm using Announcements module 3.4.00 on DNN 4.4.1 and I after I added an announcement to be displayed next week I logged out and logged in as a user with only view permissions. The entire list of announcements (future and current items, I don't have any expired) is not visible and has been replaced with an empty download list called "Select view" which as far as I know only be accessible to users with edit permissions to the module.

Just to clarify the annoucements haven't been deleted (because the admin user can still see them) its just no other user can see them and the permissions are inherited from the page with all the other modules being visible.

Can anyone help cause I really need to get the announcements visible as soon as possible

I didn't make any chances to permissions, tabs, modules but when I logged in again this morning the announcements were visible for users with view permissions to that module. I suspect it might have something to do with the cache but can't be sure.

Re: All annoucements disappeared and only the selct view is visible
module caching only works for unauthenticated users, so if you logged on as a user with only view rights, module caching could not have been an issue... if you are ever able to reproduce this issue, please let me know how...

Re: All annoucements disappeared and only the selct view is visible

Erik, I experience this as well, with Announcements 3.4.0 and DNN 4.5.x.

When changing the 'view' to Future, the drop-down loses it's values, and nothing displays.

Module Caching is set to 0.

I can email you a screen-shot if that would help...

John

I have narrowed this down to the Announcements module being included in a ZLDnn-ModuleWrapper module...
