Re: All annoucements disappeared and only the selct view is visible

Hi

I have the same problem. Announcements were fine for a few days and then suddenly all disappeared and the "Select View" was publicly available to all users. When logging in as admin/host, the select view is populated with current, future, expired and all. Only when All is selected, it show the Announcements. I have changed dates of announcements in the db, changed settings for the module but nothing would fix it.

This seems like a serious bug!

This was resolved by upgrading ZLDNN-ModuleWrapper from 4.3.5 to 4.5.0.

Are you using that product?

Re: All annoucements disappeared and only the selct view is visible

Sorry, never even heard of the ZLDN module. It was a DNN 3.1.1 (I think) site upgraded to 4.1.1 and then 4.5.1. Now running 4.5.1 stock standard with latest Announcements module. Everything else working fine on site. The only way I could "fix" it was be deleting the announcements module on the page, re-adding it and re-creating the annoucements. Editing the announcements or the module settings had no effect.

Re: All annoucements disappeared and only the selct view is visible

Did this ever get resolved???   I thought there used to be a Setting whereby you could specify that future announcements would show.  My site needs to show Announcements that are happening in the future and I cannot seem to get this to work.  Any help is greatly appreciated

Re: All annoucements disappeared and only the selct view is visible

This just happened to me too. 3 days old installation, with very few announcements. The Select View drop-down is empty, and no announcements are showing.

I'm logged on with a user that has rights to post new announcements, and the above only happens in view mode. If I change to edit mode, they all show. The same is true for admin account - switch to view mode, and all announcements disappear (well, beacuse the Select View drop down in the module blanks out of course.)

I don't know what the ZD.. whatever wrapper is. I tried different skins and containers, but no change.

I found an easier "fix" to get it back though. I moved the module to a different page and then back again. As soon as I moved it to the new page it worked again.
