I too am having this problem. The same result weather if I am logged in as Admin, standard user, or host. Using 4.5.3. When in edit mode all is fine and when in View mode it does not show anything and the drop down view list onlyu shows xx which does nothing.

Add my name to the list, too.  Just created it about 4-5 hours ago (pulled another all-nighter working on some dynamic forms), worked like a champ...took a break for about an hour...boom.  I can view it fine in edit mode, but no one else can see the announcements...just see the  "Select View" and a collapsed drop-down that shrinks to about 1 character wide and is blank...almost like it's missing the 'all' or 'current' setting, thereby not displaying anything.

Did anyone else remove the [publishdate] token from the module?  That's all I can think that changed, though it worked fine (for a few hours) after I made the change.

*Update* I exported the content, added a new announcements module to the page, brought the old content in, voila...working fine now (the new module; I deleted the corrupt one).  Back in business.

Re: All announcements disappeared and only the select view is visible

My church site has the same problem on newly added anouncement.

Users have editing right can view all entries but users have viewing right has some strange happening:

  1. All announcements appear if using Firefox
  2. But new announcements not appear if using Internet Explorer.

Any idea to fix it....

You may have a look on the following url:

Did it to me again after I moved it from right pane to left; had to export, create a new one, and import it again.
