Expanding Link Characters

Would someone know how to adjust the character length allowed for the URL Link in the Announcement Module.
By default it is set to 150 characters.

In the SQL Database I have located this field and adjusted 150 > 500 which allows me now to add a link which can be 500 characters
however when saving this page and clicking the link it will still only hold 150 characters not the 500 like what has been set.

Any ideas where else this option needs to be adjusted?

Re: Expanding Link Characters

Also modify the stored procedure: dnnAnnouncements_Add. The URL parameter takes 150 characters by default. Please report this in Gemini so it can be changed in the next version.

Re: Expanding Link Characters

I have adjusted the dnnAnnoucements_Add but found that this did not resolve the issue.
What this has done is allow me to type as many characters as I have set for this field (500 characters) but as soon as I save the page and view it, it has reset the hyperlink back to 150 characters.
