Re: No [EDIT] token found in your item template. Please update the template to include an [EDIT] token.

Hi,

I'm using 2 languages for my site: English and Turkish.

When I set the language as English Announcement is working well but when I set The language as Turkish I got

"No [EDIT] token found in your item template. Please update the template to include an [EDIT] token." error.

I copied the code in ItemTemplate when site is English and I changed the languages to Turkish then paste the copied code. It doesn't work.

How can I solve this?

Thanks.

Re: No [EDIT] token found in your item template. Please update the template to include an [EDIT] token.

I fear, this is caused by turkish I, i.e. I in [EDIT] is not converted correctly to "edit" by ToLowerInvariant. You will need to modify source code of the module to fix this, specifically GetProperty in AnnouncementInfo.vb. Please log this issue in the public issue tracker at Support.DotNetNuke.com.

this is the dreaded turkish i issue, it will be fixed by the next version of the module. For now, no workaround available i fear...

No need to log the issue as it is already logged, and already solved for the next version of the module (see here: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=6914&PROJID=8)
