Dropdownbox 'Select view' not visible for users

The dropdownbox Select View (Current, Expired, Future, All) is only visible when logged in as host or admin. Is it possible to make this 'Select View' visible for users? It's not only for editors a very powerfull feature, but also for users!
Is this configurable or am i asking for a new feature?

Thanks for your answers.
Jan Meffert.

Re: Dropdownbox 'Select view' not visible for users

I am sorry, this feature is only available to module editors.

The reason for this is that if the module would allow dynamic content for non authenticated users, module caching would stop to work. So the only way this will ever work is to make it a module setting, to allow for displayal of archived items in the module. I will add that feature to one of the next versions...

Re: Dropdownbox 'Select view' not visible for users

Hello,

The announcements module suddenly started displaying the 'Select View' dropdown even when I was not logged in. However, the options are blank. I did the standard delete browser cache, etc and it was still there. Monkeyed around with it a bit and when we went into the module settings, unchecked the display container option, hit update, then it was fine. So we checked the display container option and updated and it seems to be fine again. Back to normal. I don't know what caused it to behave this way. Anyone else reported anything like this?
