Re: Can't get syndicate RSS feed to update

It should be clear that the announcements module uses the core rss feature, which in turn uses the search index to get items for the rss feed. This is at best somewhat clumsy (so in a completely different effort we will look at the core rss feature during the course of this year).

Re: Can't get syndicate RSS feed to update

i have the same problem as you guys. I tried evrything mentioned here and finally it works. I went into Host/Scheduler, I had to disable and reenable it again. After doing this, I tested the module by adding another announcement "test 22". And it now updates and show in the RSS. BUT when I delete it, it still shows my old announcements "test 22" and "sdas". HOW DO I delete those postings?

Re: Can't get syndicate RSS feed to update

I've been having problems with the RSS feeds of the Main DNN site, surely it was configured properly.  No RSS feed from DNN has worked this year, and its not my DNN feed reader that's having problems. I can't find any reader except IE which shows all the feeds.  The DNN feeds that I can see are all months old and never update.

If stuff doesn't work on the DNN site what hope do we mere mortals have.
