howto translate [readmore] token?

Hi there,

How do I change the language of the announcement module's [readmore] token? (I am using v4.0)

Basically, what I want to achieve is when a site visitor has his default language settings set to nl-NL, I want the announcement module to display dutch articles and 'lees meer...', instead of 'read more...'. btw: I have downloaded and installed the dutch language pack for 4.8.

Is there a 'howto' somewhere that I can read?

Thanks!

With kind regards,

Alex

Re: howto translate [readmore] token?

hmm, using the dutch language pack should do the trick. Maybe some sort of caching issue... i will investigate...

Re: howto translate [readmore] token?

Hi Erik,

I have tested it on multiple sites, but the issue remains. Any luck testing it at your end?

Thanks!

With kind regards,

Alex

I was not able to reproduce your issue.

Maybe you overlooked something obvious? Are you using the Dutch language pack that belongs to version 04.00.00? It is available for download on the dutch usergroup site (http://netherlands.dnn-usergroup.net)

Re: howto translate [readmore] token?

Hi Erik, thanks for your reply.

I downloaded version 4.8 from the Dutch DNN UG site and installed it as a language pack. My first browser language is set to Dutch (Netherlands) [nl] and the 'enable browser language dectection' on my DNN site is enabled. When I add the an announcement on my site, the [readmore] token is replaces with the text 'read more...' instead of 'lees meer'.

Not sure what I am doing wrong, is there a simple howto somewhere?

Thanks again.
With kind regards,

Alex
