Calendar in annoucements settings problem...

Hi everyone,

I'm using the annoucements module in an arabic portal, my problem is the calendar for the start date and end date, it just shows the hijri month correctly, the selected day and year are wrong they're still gregorian. How can i fix this issue?

thank you.

Re: Calendar in annoucements settings problem...

Do you have this same problem in other locations of DNN (eg. the calendar popups from module and /or page settings)?

also: i am not quite sure the Calendar popup supports other calendars than the gregorian calendar...

Re: Calendar in annoucements settings problem...

Dear Erik,

Yes i do it's the same in all modules, i think it's something to do with the javascript of the calendar "popupcalendar.js". i'm going to try to fix it, but If you do have a solution please send to me.

Thank You for your response,

Best Regards.

Mazen.

Re: Calendar in annoucements settings problem...

i dont know of any solution

The popup calendar is generated by a custom javascript. we might need to look into this and start using the asp.net calendar control instead. At any rate, this is a core issue, not an issue of the announcements module
