For some reason Syndication is not working for announcement module on my website

Hi,

I am new to Dotntenuke. I have created website using DNN 4.8.0. I have installed Announcement module on my website.

In settings of the module, I have selected allow syndicate option. So It displays Syndicate symbol, but on clicking on that symbol it doesn't open the rss feed.Instead it just refreshes the page.

I have news module on the same website and rss feed for new is working fine, but for some unknown reason rss feed for announcement module doesn't work.

I tried to create rss feed for normal text/html module, but in that as well it opens up my webpage in popup window instead of rss feeds.

I really need to solve this issue as soon as possible. I tried a lot to figure out what is going on, but no answer...

Please help me to solve this puzzle....

Thanks

Re: For some reason Syndication is not working for announcement module on my website

the RSS feature of Announcements module uses the core RSS feature, which in turn uses the core search engine to populate rss items. This means that you need to have the core search indexer enabled otherwise rss won't work
