are categories possible?
Have only started to play around with DNN today, so forgive me for the newbie question.
Is it possible to categorise announcements?  It's just that my client wants to post different announcments, for "industry news" and "company news" and allow users to switch between them.

Thanks
Vicky

Hi Leigh

Thanks for the quick reply.  I don't suppose you have a rough timescale for this feature?

Re: are categories possible?

nope, not even a that.

Although adding categories would be fairly simple if borrowed for instance from the help module, i don't want to be doing just that. To me it seems rather pointless for each module having its own category implementation... this should be handled at the core ... the lists feature comes to mind, but thats not working on portal level at the moment...

cheers,

Erik
