Error: Announcements is currently unavailable
Hi,

I installed DNN331 and am getting the following error in the Announcement module after adding an announcement:

Re: Error: Announcements is currently unavailable

Are you using the default template, or did you change anything? (you can find the template in module settings)

Re: Error: Announcements is currently unavailable
I am using DNN 3.3.1, announcement ver. 3.3.1
I have discovered the same issue, and the error only occurs with anonymous access (user not logged in), but when admin/host is logged in, the announcement displays fine. I have found that doing this corrects the symptom of the above error message:
1. First Change the Announcement setting: History to be any number.
2. Then add a new announcement.
3. Log out and the announcement should display fine (as well as previous announcements).

Even deleting the History setting after doing the above changes did not cause the original error.

Can anyone else verify if this is a bug or known issue?

Re: Error: Announcements is currently unavailable
Upgrade to 3.3.2 and the problem should go away.

Re: Error: Announcements is currently unavailable

I get the same errors on a new 4.3.3 install. I did not upgrade, never had DNN installed on this machine. Added the Announcements module to the home page of the default DotNetNuke template page.
