Thanks for the great post, saved me heaps of time.

Just one quick question though (I might have missed something), when I tried this out in our dev enviromment, the background colour of the editor turned to the background colour of the skin i.e. Using the standard DNN blue skin, the background turns to the DNN blue.

Cheers Wayne

Stupidly I forgot to check in both IE & FF, the background colour only shows in FF.

When I do this step, I am redirected to my portal... (instead of having access to the setting, I see my webpage in the new window...
Is it a bug, something knew ???

this is not common behaviour, might there be an issue to access a file?

Probably... But what could I do ???
If I re-install FCK, can it be solved ? How could I re-install FCK ?? Nobody can "translate" this error message and understanding what the problem is ??

I know it's been a while and it's likely you solved this by now, but just in case.  I had the same problem (when I clicked on custom settings it opened a new window with my default portal page).  For me, this was caused by the module DNNMasters SEO.  I had to add this page (FckHtmlEditorOptions.aspx) to the list of Exclude Pages.  This can be found in the module settings under Portal Settings and Global Settings.  I added it to Global Settings but it didn't work until I also added it to Portal Settings.

Re: How to create a list of custom styles by portal in the FCK EditorProbably. But what could I done

I followed the directions  here but FCKEditor  inserts  the  style  settings  instead  of the style  name, which  defeats  the purpose of css.

e.g. <p font-family="verdana" font-size="18px" color="#BA302E" font-weight="bold">The Early Years

Is this the way it works, or have I done something wrong?

thx

Tony
