FCK Editor Not Functioning Properly - Blank Values after Save

Ok, So I'm using the FCK editor now on this site, and I have also read a few issues with the FCK editor not saving the data properly when you click an update or save link in certain modules.  Since this is the main entry for all my content, and it's used throughout the system, this is going to be a problem with my whole site.

I'm using DNN version 4.6.2 and the FCKeditor is on 2.4.1, and I'm not sure what needs to be done to make this program work.  I have been using NukeNews for my news articles and when I try to edit an article or add an article, after clicking update or save, all the content that I just inserted has disappeared.  So I thought this might be an issue with the NukeNews module.  I went ahead and downloaded the newest Blog module from DNN, and when editing or creating a blog entry, it does the same and erases all my content from the areas I just put it into. "If I use the basic editor, everything works fine, but I perfer using the rich text editor."

It seems that this is an issue with the editor, and would love to know how to fix this since this program is used throughout the whole DNN framework.  Maybe there is something I'm missing right in front of me (hopefully), but I would love to get back on track and figure a way to get around this or have it fixed.

Re: FCK Editor Not Functioning Properly - Blank Values after Save
Hi Kail, We have the same issues and still don't know the solution. Actually FCK developers anounced the release of 2.5.1 version of FCK. Maybe, it was improved, but we haven't tried it out yet. And they are currently working on the third version already. So hopefully we'll have a more user-friendly editor soon! We also looked at Telerik editor, which is advertised on the DNN website, but this one is not for free. Anyway, you can try it as an alternative (they provide demos on their site, and even free trial if I'm not mistaken). And if you find out some other solutions, please stay in touch - it's a really important topic for us too! Cheers, Maria

Not sure if this is the same issue .. go to the Host->Settings page and turn off the "Enable AJAX" checkbox.
