Getting FCKeditor value on Clientside using JS. 

hi there!

Is anyone know how to get FCKeditor value client side using javascript ?

I want to get and assign the value to editor  using JS on ClientClick.

any suggestion!!!

Hi there i got the answer for this question. Just write following code.

    var a = FCKeditorAPI.GetInstance(editorInstance.Name).EditorWindow.parent.FCK.GetHTML() ;  

Following code return text from editor, In the Code editorInstance is instance of UR FCKeditor.

hi Check it out with following. var text = null; var oEditor = FCKeditorAPI.GetInstance('FCKeditorCommon1') ; if(oEditor) { text = oEditor.GetXHTML(true); } Now, text will return you value of text editor if any thing entered in it.
