Safari support

Hello,

I have upgraded to 2.6rc (from 2.5) without any problem. However, since 2.5 FCKEditor was supposed to be compatible with Safari. When trying on the FCKeditor site Safari works great, but when trying on a DNN site (this site or mine which is upgragded  to 2.6rc) the tool bar disapear and when the user tries to change text it erases all existing content.

What are we missing? Why does it apear that only a fraction of the 2.5+ functionality is implemented? Is there some aspx or dll that need change?

Thank you,

Re: Safari support

Hi Fabrice,
There are a couple of useragents checks done in the FCK provider before the actual javascript is executed.

The following post contains some details though this was done in the previous version of the provider... by following this some you should be able to enable opera support too.

Re: Safari support

FYI, Safari works great without modification in DNN 4.9.

Re: Safari support

4.9 includes the 02.00.02 version of the provider. This provider includes the latest (as today) version of the FCKeditor and it is compatible with safari.
