developement of this module has been terminated; users are suggested to use UserDefinedTable instead. There will be a migration path soon.

This module has been killed?  It seems like a simple way of listing users and their profile information is rather important.  Maybe I'm not familiar with UDT, but does it easily allow the linking to user profile information.  I've been looking forward to the release of this module for a while.

Re: Why no phone book?

Dax,

Contacts was NOT a user directory, you have been able to create a manual list of persons with associated data like Phonenumber and Email - that was all. UDT allows you to create customized lists with all data you would like to store. Besides, there is a new team, creating a membership directory module.

Re: Why no phone book?

Yes, I know how contacts worked.  I was referring to the road map listed on the main project page.  I was interested in where that was going.  But, from your comment, it sounds like what I'm looking for is still in the works but in the profile module.  Great news.  Thank you.

Re: Why no phone book?

AFAIK the road map describes plans for the membership directory module; I apologize, if this was not stated clearly.
