System Tokens in Point Description format
Modified By ajsansone on 5/12/2008 12:38:17 PM)

Is there a way to include DotNetNuke System Tokens in the Point Description format?

For example: [User:FullName] or [Profile:<Property>]

The reason I ask is because when I use the [Description] token the address is displayed on a single line and I would rather have it displayed like:

Name
Street
City, State Zip
Country

How does the Map Module inject the tokens into the placemark description windows when clicked? Is there a way to inject other columns from my UserDefinedTable Module's Columns? For Example: {udt:Website}?

Can you explain how this works?

Re: System Tokens in Point Description format

I'm intrested in a similar function.

I want to grab the URL/website of my users to display in the balloon, clickable...or a tabid for thier profile possibly.  Do I need to create a custom data source, then my own query to format the discription string to an HTML link for thier url?

(umm..dunno if that made sense :->)

Thanks!

Josh
