passing a location in url?

Hi

Is it possible to open the map up at a specific location by passing info through a url? I didn't find anything on that in the documentation.

Thanks
Mike

Yeah it's possible to start the map from a specific location with zoom setting, map type and control type. All these settings can be defined by going to edit map --> then selecting interface. Then enter the latitude and longitude (don't click set) then change the zoom setting (16 being the whole world to 0 or 1 being the closest zoom level) and control type then click update or save at the bottom of the page.

If you mean enter a url parameter in the address bar for example:
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=27.75143,-83.83305&spn=6.870606,9.580078&z=7

no thats not possible.

Oops, at first glance I thought you were saying the opposite. Do you think passing a location through a url or some other means is on the horizon for this module. This would be a great extension of an already great module. Thanks. Mike
