Has the release process stalled?

There's been no activity in the release process for this module for 12 days. This follows the previous update which took 10 days. Does anyone know how many people are actually involved in the process and why does it take so long.

Re: Has the release process stalled?

Sebastian:

Can you explain a little further what you mean ?

I have been checking on the 4.04.08 release of the Feedback module and it appears to be suffering from the same issue as the Map Module, no activity for 12 days.

This module was supposed to be in a  "Fast Track' release process.

In fact 10 of the 12 modules currently in the release tracker have had no activity in over a day.

So is there a way that the release process can be repaired ?

Sebastian -

Can you provide any details of the discussion? What kind of issues are there? Any chance of an update?

Please be aware, that this is a volunteer project, where not everyone is able to spend time everyday on every task and often communication with the project team is required, which takes it time as well. It is our aim, to validate packaging usually within 3 days and subsequently perform testing within another 2 weeks, but this requires availablity of all people involved - which we cannot always guarantee, but during the past months for most of the packages achieved.

Feedback 04.04.03 has meanwhile been released.

During testing of MAP module, there have been issues discovered, that need further investigation by the team lead before we decide to proceed. Kevin promised to check this out within the next days, so we can move on with the release process.
