Custom Queries again!!!

I went through most of the post here on the forum, to be honest i did not get an answer for what i'm looking for.

Heres what i need. I have data in another table, I am using a stored procedure to populate the map_points table. I am using standard data points and the module works fine. But i am able to display only name and address in the pop up balloon using the [DESCRIPTION] and [ADDRESS] tokens. I need to show more than that. I need to put in a date or other names how do i do it?. From what i gathered from the posts in this forum is that this can be done using custom queries. Is that true? Can it be done?

The documentation did not help me in my quest. It would be really helpful if you can help me resolve this. Maybe a brief post which explains how it works.

Thanks,

Amith

Re: Custom Queries again!!!

Amith,

I accomplished this by writing a SQL Server function called GetBalloonDescription that would generate a string based on what I passed in.  Then in my stored procedure I could do select dbo.GetBalloonDescription(@param) as 'Description', etc.

Matt
