Some Early Feedback

Just installed the BETA and started playing around... I'm liking what I see so far.  The thing I like most is (IMHO) it's a very clean and simple interface. I have found one issue so far.  I didn't see any other reports but this may be a known issue.  I'm testing on DNN 4.7.0.

  • In I.E. 7 the "pop-ups" for the various features (i.e. emoticons) does not display correctly. The borders around the display area only are displaying the upper left, upper right, lower left and lower right.  I have a screen shot but no way to attach it to this post.
  • It "pop-ups" display fine in Firefox, Safari and Opera
  • Opera seems to have a display issue with the module in general.  The module initially displays ok but shortly after displaying the text box disappears (except for the horizontal scroll bar) and it seems to go into a repeating refresh (AJAX????)

I'll kick the tires some more and report back.

Re: Some Early Feedback

It's a known issue, has something to do with XHTML compliance. It doesn't occur in FireFox for example. You need to set the doctype element in the skin to fix it for IE. I'll try to find the right doctype....
