Problem in retriving report from Reporting server 2005

  •  .  I have created a report call EmployeeList in Reporting service 2005. And also i Deployed that report in server. Deployment is success. and also i can preview the report from deployed folder.
  • My problem is I am trying to show that report in Nuke module. But I am getting the error stating that
  • The request failed with HTTP status 401: Access Denied. I gave correct Report server Url and Report path in Report viewer.
  •   I dont know what is the problem.  can u help me?

Are you using the DotNetNuke Reports Module? Or creating your own module using the ASP.Net Report Viewer control?

The Reports Module (in version 4.4.2 which is available to Platinum Benefactors) does not support authentication so the user that ASP.Net is running under (ASPNET in 2000/XP, and NETWORK SERVICE in Server 2003) must have permission to access the Report Server.

If you are using the ASP.Net Report Viewer control, you must setup Network Credentials and pass them to the control. This article has good information on using the ReportViewer control: http://www.devx.com/dotnet/Article/30424 (see page 3 for details on authentication)
