Reports 4.4.2 doesn't save chart colour
Modified By Michael on 1/4/2007 10:19:05 AM)
Just tried out the new version of the reports module and added in the additional visualizers. I chose an existing report to try out the chart visualizer feature and was able to get it charting, my only problem is that I can't get the module to save the chart colour/color to be#336699 instead of #000000 I tried to see where the settings for the module are saved in the database but wasn't able to find the reports table.

Can anyone enlighten me?

BTW Nice work on the module

Re: Reports 4.4.2 doesn't save chart colour
I have reproduced the error and I will log it in the Bug Tracker. This will be fixed in the next release (which will hopefully release much, much, sooner than the last one, as it'll probably just be a few bug fixes). As a workaround, the "One Color Per Bar" mode seems to work properly, so you could change your query as shown below and then use "One Color Per Bar" mode with a color column of "Color".

SELECT [... the fields you are using for the chart ...], '#123456' as 'Color' FROM ...

Replacing "#123456" with whatever color you wish to use.

Re: Reports 4.4.2 doesn't save chart colour
BTW, Reports uses the DNN TabModule/ModuleSettings architecture so that it doesn't need its own database objects. So the Data Source settings are stored in the ModuleSettings table and the Visualizer settings in the TabModuleSettings table.
