Listing Users (again?)
Hi

I'm sure this has been asked a million times before, but I can't really find anything substantial out there.

I need to display all users row by row including whether they are authorized or not, firstname, lastname, display name, email addresses, and most of the profile fields (some of which I have customized).

Does anybody know where I might find a list of similar queries that I could take a look at, that does something similar if not exactly what I'm looking for?

Cheers!

Alex

Re: Listing Users (again?)

Hi,  I'd sure like to know how to do this as well.  I've been searching the forums, but can't find anything.  Please let me know if you find anything.

Thanks! Denise

Re: Listing Users (again?)
The biggest problem with doing this is that the profile properties are stored in multiple rows and converting each row into a column for that user would be very tricky. Perhaps someone with more SQL experience can provide some insight?

Exactly Andrew... I got stumped in the end.

Anybody out there up to the challenge?

Cheers

Re: Listing Users (again?)

I put together a few mini-modules a while back to use as a training resource, they both do custom queries against the profile properties, perhaps they would be of help to you . They're at http://www.cathal.co.uk/Default.aspx?tabid=86 (also don't forget that the non-profile properties are in the vw_Users view)
