How to include search fields in the page

I need to include about 6 fields in the page, where the user can enter one or more fields as parameters. I am going to use that parameters in a sql query to retreive some data from the database and display it in the page. Can I do that with the reports module or is there a different module that can allow me to do that? Thanks.

Lissy

Re: How to include search fields in the page

The Reports Module can't do that in the current version, the next version will include this feature but that may be a little ways off. I don't know if there are other modules, but I'm sure someone here can give you a suggestion.

Re: How to include search fields in the page

I do not think you can do this with DNN Reports module current version.  You could use 3rd party modules

Free 3rd party modules:

Paid 3rd party module

If you plan to buy, be aware of a module called ListX.  It requires a rather steep learning curve.  The samples reports that come with the module do not work.  Check out their support forum and you see so many un-resolved issues.

Re: How to include search fields in the page

Harold, I used the SQLGridSelectedView. It is what I needed. Thanks a lot!
