OnInit does not get called 

Hi,

     I created a new module (say MyModule) and customized DesktopModules/MyModule/ViewMyModule.ascx.   I added "protected override void OnInit" and "protected override void Page_Load" methods to the code behind. For some strange reason, when the module is being rendered, "Page_Load" gets called, but "OnInit" does not. "ascx" files Control directive does have "AutoEventWireup="true" directive.

Any thoughts on what could be the problem?

What is the Page_Init function Handling?  Is should 'handle' the MyBase.Page_Init function...

I confess I've had this happen to me before...but never resolved it.  Do you have controls on the page?  Is 'runat=server' specified for each control?  Please let us know if you solve this and how...
