update panel doesn't work [?]

hi,

I have small problem with my module. It will be very simple - only one button. So I put this button inside update panel. This is my module control [only one]. I have also checked 'supports parital rendering'. Then I put this module on page. The magic has begun. When I press button the whole page is reloading, instead of only this button. can anyone explain me why this is happening and how to use update panel in module controls?

P.S. I know that when I checked 'supports partial rendering' I do not need update panel, because whole module control is working on ajax. But the problem is that I need only part of my module control to be working on ajax.

Re: update panel doesn't work [?]

At the beginning of Page_Load add the following line and it may resolve your issue:

DotNetNuke.Framework.AJAX.RegisterScriptManager()
