4D database

I need to create a module that can show students marks to parents. The school I work for is planning to buy an application from colegium.com (schooltrak). The application uses a 4D database to strote data. Is it possible to develop a module in vs2008 that could open and use such database? I haven't been able to find a connection string. At present, they are using a module i created to connect to an access database and it works well.

Re: 4D database

If you can connect to the data via .Net, you can connect via a module in DNN.

Re: 4D database

I'd imagine you can also connect using ODBC which should have a slightly more generic connection string.  http://www.4d.com/docs/OBU/OBU00002.HTM has some references to that.

Re: 4D database

I wonder if anybody could supply an example on how to connect to a 4D database.
