Modular Module!

I am interested in creating a module that can be used for DotNetNuke, a standalone website, and a SharePoint WebPart.

Does anyone have any application architectural guidence to achive such a feat with the minimal amount of rework?

Direct advice, links to examples, or whitepapers is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Bill

Thanks, Bill

Re: Modular Module!

Depending on the functionality you're going for you could simply create an ASCX and wrap it as a WebPart, DNN Module and use it pure from ASP.NET.  The architectures of DNN and SharePoint are not the same, but putting everything in a pure ASCX and wrapping it will at least be a starting point.

Re: Modular Module!

You can make a standard web user control, and it can be used for all of teh above.. but you wont be able to do anything that is DNN specific or Sharepoint specific.  Standard .NET only.
