add folder through document module

Hi,

It's urgent.

I have a case, where I have to add a folder under the 'Root', If it doesn't exist.

And each user can see their folder and files only. When they upload document it should added into their folder.

Is there any method or property in document module?

Thanks in advance,

Ganeshpandi.M

Re: add folder through document module

afaik folder permissions are not handled by the documents module, but handled by the core, through the filemanager (admin > filemanager) If you need more granular control, you should consider looking at the dmx module by bring2mind (www.bring2mind.net)

Re: add folder through document module

Erik is correct on this one.

The documents module only works with the core DNN file permission configuration.  If a folder exists and the user has permissions they can upload to it, but it will NOT create a new folder, those must be done via the FileManager utility.
