Expiry date on Documents

I realize that there is currently not an option to automatcially remove a document when it is no longer needed. Does anyone know if that is planned for a furture release?

Also, does anyone knwo of a module that allows downloading files or documents that also allows an expiration date?

Re: Expiry date on Documents

you could use the announcement module, have it link to your document, and use the expiry date of the announcement.

Version 4.0.0 which will be released soon has more templating support, so you could even create a tabular display to resemble the documents module

Re: Expiry date on Documents

Erik's suggestion is a very good one.

At this time I am not aware of any "expiration" date for items in the documents module, but I would imagine that it might be something that would be in a future release.

"Valid From:" date could be useful too, so that a document could appear whilst I'm on holiday (Ha!)

Barry,

Would you like to add this as a feature request in Gemini?

I can bring it up with Anthony and the rest of the team as I think it would be a very good feature to have.
