Does anyone have a solution for this? I have the same situation and would also like to keep the documents in sub folders instead of all of them piling up at the root.

I have two follow up questions:

1) I used a very old version of document module; its behavior is very different from this one. Can you clarify the differences between repository module, and the document module? When (what conditions) should I apply them?

2) I want to store my documents in different location, e.g. f:\stuff directory. How would I do that? It sets to the root, and limits to certain type of files, e.g. gif, jpg, etc., but not doc file nor txt file. How can I change that? It always sets to the relative path; how can I change it to absolute path?
