Re: Sorting isn't working

Mitch,

Thank you for your reply, but I cannot find this checkbox. All that I found about sorting ,in the documents module setting page, is selecting the columns that are used in sorting initially.Once the page is displayed to the user, he cannot change the sorting order and column

Thanks again

Re: Sorting isn't working

The option is available for the 4.0.0 version of the module, you can check your installed version via the Module Definitions page.

At this time there is a bug with the current version (4.0.0) where the default sort order is not being applied.

User sorting after the fact, by clicking on titles if enabled, does work as expected.

We are working on an updated module release to resolve the issue.

Does anyone out there have a hack to fix this while we are waiting for the updated module release?

Re: Sorting isn't working

I concur - isn't there some way around this problem? I'm having to rename 50 documents on my site to put a 1, 2, 3, 4 etc... at the beginning of the name so it sorts in the order I want. Pain in the rear. Has anyone (please) found a temporary work-around - this really renders the module useless for now.
