Welcome to the Document Module forums
Please use this forum to post ideas and suggestions relating the Documents module sub-project. We do appreciate it if you will take the time to write a few lines, ask a question about the module, or even answer questions.

Issues and Bugs
Please use the Developing the Documents Module forum to report bugs and issues found in the module, this way we are able to schedule, solve, track, and test the issues raised. We will copy details from the forums into the Gemini tracker once we've verified bugs or determined feasability of enhancements.

If you are not sure if a module operation is a feature or an issue, please describe your findings in the Using the Documents Module forum so others are able to provide their views and opinions.

What is the Document Module?
The DotNetNuke Documents Module is one of the original included modules in the DotNetNuke Portal. The module is able to produce a list of documents with links to view (depending on user's file associations) or download the document.

Each document is listed in a grid with information about the document like title, owner, category, the last updated date, and the size of local documents.

Why provide feedback?
We need your feature ideas and experience with the module to help us make the module even better, and positive feedback helps us confirm the design choices we make.

Which Forum?
The Using the Documents Module forum is for questions, comments and requests for help.
The Developing the Documents Module forum is for feature/enhancement requests and bug reports.

Locked Posts
As a general practise, when someone posts a request for help or support and a response has been acknowledged as the "solution", we lock the post.  This helps keep posts "on topic" and also provides an indication that a post has been resolved, so we can concentrate our efforts on addressing unresolved issues.
